Portraits mean different things to different people. From family heirlooms to candid photographs of family and friends.. Yes, pets are family too! There is a lot that goes into a quality portrait: Location choices, wardrobe, weather, time of day, quality of light, size of group..etc.. Type of Portrait: Formal, Casual, Fun, Life style, Individual, couples, intimate and Corporate. Regardless of the variables, Wayne Barson Photography will always try to highlight the individual exposing their special character and personality. Better Portraits
The following tips are important to improving the quality of your portraits!
๏ Bath in the subtle early morning rays of sunrise or the soft glow of sunset…. The perfect times for those exquisitely lit images.
๏ Coordinated Wardrobe - I recommend wearing long sleeves, solid colors and "V" necks for the most flattering images.
Solid color clothes, in cool or neutral shades always look good. Blue and green are cool.
๏ Dark and medium dark colors slim, bright colors not as much.
๏ Neutral colors such as blacks, whites and grays put the emphasize on your face.
๏ Groups should always dress in similar tones and colors.. this includes the shoes! Example: Blue jeans and white tops.
๏ Everyone dresses casual or formal.. Mixing these two wardrobes is not recommended!
๏ Relaxing and enjoying the experience will guarantee a pleasing outcome.
๏ Give some thought to the type of image you would like. Feel free to make suggestions before and/or during your session. After all, It is about you and what you desire.
Portraits Options
Each portrait session is based on a one hour per - Family, Individual or Group sitting at locations selected by the client or myself.
๏ All images from each session should be proofed in person (preferable) or via our secure on-line proofing gallery.(On-line proofing quality depends on your computer monitor. If it is not calibrated (most are not) it will not give a true representation of the image)
๏ Price includes one DVD/CD with selected high quality images. (Make duplicates right away! Store the duplicate disks is a safe place)
๏ Quality Prints are offered through Wayne Barson Photography. Once portraits and size formats are selected, we can decide on how you would like them finished. Prints are offered separate from the portrait sitting.
๏ All images maintain the highest quality standards.
๏ Secure - three month post Portrait online gallery for family and friends to enjoy. Extra images can be purchased through this gallery.
Individual - Couples
A one hour sitting at desired location(s).
Families, Groups and Reunions
Each portrait session is based on a one hour per - Family, Individual or Group sitting at locations selected by the client or myself. Read "Better Portraits" in the previous paragraph to insure the best possible portrait session.
Lifestyle Portraits
Have you ever wanted to document a day in your life? Booking a Lifestyle Portrait session will capture you, your family and/or friends as you glide through your day. Up to four hours and as many locations as needed to fulfill your session. Typically, I like to expose you in your surroundings at home, work and play.
