Day Tripping

Some years we just don't feel like packing and unpacking canoes every day! In July we follow the spring run-off, eventually making our way to the rockies in search of new locations to explore and paddle.

Wilderness Tripping

There is nothing else in this world that I enjoy more than wilderness tripping. Complete emersion into the environment opens windows into a forgotten age where life was harsh, and your very existance depended on the ability to adapt. Although we are technically more advanced than our adventurous fore-fathers, the inherent challenges and dangers of isolation do not recognize the passing of time.

Adventure & Travel

I suppose there is life beyond paddling... Just in case we happen to experience the other side, I will be posting that information in this area.

Local Activities

Vancouver Island is known for many outdoor recreational activities. Surrounded by water is a dead give away for wet adventures . We are also becoming recognized for the excellent white water paddling given the amount of annual rainfall we receive. Windsurfing is world class and skiing at Mount Washington or Mount Cain rounds out the winter opportunities. Come over to VI and check it out!
